Spring Quilt camp

Debbie will have the sign up for Spring Quilt Camp at the January 21st regular meeting. The dates are March 26-29th. Spots are limited!

Fall Quilt Camp

This is the Fall Quilt Camp Opportunity Quilt.  You can buy tickets for a chance to win this beauty which was pieced by Ruth P and assisted by Lora R. and quilted by Penny. 

Colleen will begin collecting the ten dollar quilt spot reservation fee in July for the fall dates of October 19th to the 22nd (assuming we get the extra day on Thursday) and a fun time is always guaranteed. 

In addition to sewing and gabbing all we want, someone else does almost all the cooking and cleaning up and we can stroll the grounds or hike the mountain too.  Camp is a bit rustic but the food and company are good!  Emmanuel Pines is in Prescott.   

One of our favorite parts of the weekend is on Sunday morning...we hang all of our projects and quilts out and take pictures.  It is always so much fun to see all of the competed work that everyone has worked on all weekend (or all year and just finished at camp)!Cam

Here's the latest on Spring Camp...from LeeAnna aka Camp Queen

We have THURSDAY!! Camp this spring is April 7, 8, 9 and 10. We can arrive at Emmanuel Pines starting at 2:00 pm. I'll be there to start setting up tables and getting the power set up. We have the space until 2:00 pm on Sunday, meals start on Friday evening and we do have lunch on Sunday.

I am opening up our camp to Non-NT members this week - so if you want to reserve your space, let me know and send me your $10 deposit. We have 20 people signed up so far, the limit is 30. If you have a friend or family member that would like to attend camp - the only requirement is that they belong to AQG since we use the guilds insurance.

Remember to have your payments completed by March 15th or there is a $10 late fee. We'll have lots of fun, the small quilt auction, a gift exchange, opportunity quilt sales, a pot luck on Thursday and lots and lots of quilting!! It's official - We have Thursday!

Quilt Camp is coming up so fast! Less than 2 months until quilting, and eating, and quilting, and sleeping, and quilting, and talking, and quilting, and walking, and quilting - well you get the idea.

If you haven't already signed up for camp there's still time. All monies need to be paid by October 12th or you will have to pay a late fee. We'll be opening spaces for other (non-NT members) on Monday Sept 27th - if you know someone you think would like to go the only requirement is that they MUST belong to AQG. This is so they are covered by insurance. It's a MUST, NO exceptions!

2010 Spring Camp Emmanuel Pines

It's official....we have Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for camp!!! The dates are April 15 -18, 2010. Check in time is noon on Thursday. If you are planning on arriving on Thursday, then the cost is $92.00 , if not until Friday then the cost is $80.00. Payment needs to be made in full by March 15. Start planning on your projects and packing and we'll see you at camp!

Nimble Thimbles Spring Camp 2010

Yes..it is months away, but mark your calendar for April 16 -18, 2010. LeeAnna will not know if we get to arrive on Thursday until 60 days before camp starts. Keep tuned in for updates as time get closer to camp.
Quilt camp is a wonderful weekend spent with new and old friends at Emmanuel Pines Camp in Prescott. Bring your own projects to start or finish while someone else does the cooking.

Nimble Thimbles Spring Camp

Nimble Thimbles Spring Camp - April 16 - 20, 2009 Yes! We have Thursday this spring.

$90 covers Thursday to Sunday, if you can't make it until Friday, then it's only $78.

Please join us at Camp this year. We can arrive at Emmanuel Pines starting at 2:00p on Thursday the 16th and have the space until Sunday at 2:00p.
We have a great time, sewing, talking, quilting, walking, quilting, snacking, quilting, napping, and oh yeah... quilting!

Your camp fee includes dinner on Friday, all 3 meals on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. We have a potluck on Thursday evening or you can wander into Prescott and find food on your own.

Camp is a lot of fun and a great place to work on that project you've been trying to get done. Nothing is scheduled except for the great meals that Emmanuel Pines provides for us.

Please make sure we have your money by the 1st meeting in April. You can give me or Patti your payment. Please remember - you MUST be a member of AQG in order to go to camp. We use AQG's insurance.

Fall Quilt Camp

Fall Camp dates are set as 11/14 through 11/16. There is a good likelyhood that we will also get Thursday 11/13 but that has not yet been finalized. See Lee Anna to sign up. Cost is $78 plus an extra $12 if you arrive on Thursday.
