Come and join us this Tuesday night 4/2/24, in person, to see  Pam Gagnier’s Antique Trunk Show. She will be showing all her family treasures. A show you won’t want to miss!

We also will be having the Free Table - please be sure to take items home that weren’t taken by the end of the meeting.

April 20, 2024 - Sign up for Soy Batik Workshop, Saturday from 9:30-4:00pm, at the church with Linda McCurry. Cost $35.00. Supplies included.

We are looking for new leadership for next year (beginning in July) 2024-2025. Positions available are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Programs and Membership.  If you are interested, it's a great opportunity to join the Nimble Thimbles Team. The election will be held in April or May 2024.

President Challenge:  Please bring round one or show the progress this week. Pick a purchase from a vacation, or in your travels and make it! Every time you finish an item, bring for Show and Tell and receive a ticket.  The more projects you complete, the more tickets you’ll receive for the drawing at the last month’s meetings in June.

TGIF schedule: sewing at downtown Chandler Library from 11-3pm in the Makery Room. Every 2nd & 4th Friday: 4/12 and 4/26 and continues through 2024. See Nimble Thimbles FB page for details. 

Sweet Pz's Sew Day at 3536 E Tremaine Ave, Gilbert, AZ 85234 is the 2nd Saturday of every month through 2024. 9:30-4:00pm, $10.00. Next sew day is 4/13/24. 

In Person Meeting: Tuesday 3/19/24 - Linda McCurry Presentation

 Come and join us this Tuesday night 3/19/24, in person, to see Linda McCurry presenting Derwent Inktense Pencils and Blocks, and how to use them to make small amounts of original fabric or “fix” fabric to work in your quilt designs. A great “Make and Take” to try them out yourself.

Program Change for Speaker at 3/5/24 Meeting: Heather Nothum Trunk Show

 

Come and join us this Tuesday night 3/5/24 to see Heather Nothum our President, for a Trunk show of her Beautiful quilts and focusing on creating the back of quilts.

Pam Gagnier has had to postpone her presentation to April 2, 2024.

Those who participated in the “Tribute to Gee’s Bend Quilters,” remember to bring your Quilt Show entries to show to membership! If you want Penny Boese to enter your quilt, remember to bring your claim check and bag with your entry tag attached. Also, make sure your entry tag is attached to the bottom left of your quilt as you look at it from the back. No sleeve is required. If you have questions, contact Penny Boese.
