Two ladies from Alaska will be our guests on January 19, 2010, Mary Stenros and Becky Moore. Evelyn Link met them while visiting her sister, Hazel, last summer in Soldotna.
Mary Stenros started designing a series of quilt patterns using Alaskan wildlife as her subject. Since then she has expanded the pattern series to include The Western Series, The North American Series, The Vanishing Series, and Favorite Places Series. Mary and Becky will give us an overview of the easy technique that will produce a wall hanging or pillow cover.
