In Person Meeting: Tuesday 3/19/24 - Linda McCurry Presentation

 Come and join us this Tuesday night 3/19/24, in person, to see Linda McCurry presenting Derwent Inktense Pencils and Blocks, and how to use them to make small amounts of original fabric or “fix” fabric to work in your quilt designs. A great “Make and Take” to try them out yourself.

4/20/24- Sign up for Soy Batik Workshop, Saturday from 9:30-4:00pm, at the church with Linda McCurry. Cost $35.00. Supplies included.

We are looking for new leadership for next year (beginning in July) 2024-2025. Positions available are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Programs and Membership.  If you are interested, it's a great opportunity to join the Nimble Thimbles Team. The election will be held in April or May 2024.

President Challenge: 

Please bring round one or show the progress this week. Pick a purchase from a vacation, or in your travels and make it! Every time you finish an item, bring for Show and Tell and receive a ticket.  The more projects you complete, the more tickets you’ll receive for the drawing at the last month’s meetings in March and June.

AQG received 350 quilts for the Quilt Show in Mesa “Hip to be Square.”  Please sign up to volunteer at the show. 

TGIF schedule: sewing at downtown Chandler Library from 11-3pm in the Makery Room. Every 2nd & 4th Friday: 4/12 and 4/26 and continues through 2024. See Nimble Thimbles FB page for details. Please Note: the TGIF for 3/22/24 has been canceled.

Sweet Pz's Sew Day at 3536 E Tremaine Ave, Gilbert, AZ 85234 is the 2nd Saturday of every month through 2024. 9:30-4:00pm, $10.00. Next sew day is 4/13/24.
