In Person Meeting: Tuesday 2/6/24 Speaker: Gina Perkes

 Hello Nimble Thimbles members!

Come and join us this Tuesday night 2/6/24, in person, to see Gina Perkes from the Copper Needle (quilt shop in Payson) presenting “How Do I Quilt This.” Gina is an award-winning quilter and specializes in ruler guided quilting. She recently was demonstrating in Road to CA and Rusty Barn and will be teaching in Paducah later this year. Come and join us and give Gina Perkes a warm welcome.

We also will be having the Free Table - please be sure to take items home that weren’t taken by the end of the meeting.  

Bring your Show and Tell to share including the theme Valentine's Day and any quilts from Gina Perks’ patterns.

Penny Boese will give an update on Community Service as well as update us on the Gees Bend Challenge. 

Upcoming Events:

Madonna from Mad B’s will be demonstrating quilting projects and tools on February 20.

We are looking for new leadership for next year (beginning in July) 2024-2025. Positions available are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Programs and Membership.  If you are interested, it's a great opportunity to join the Nimble Thimble’s Team. The election will be held in April or May 2024.

President Challenge: pick a purchase from a vacation, or in your travels and make it! Every time you finish an item, bring for Show and Tell and receive a ticket. The more projects you complete, the more tickets you’ll receive for the drawing in March and June.

AQG received 350 quilts for the Quilt Show in Mesa “Hip to be Square.”  Please sign up to volunteer at the show.
