Change to Sunday Sew-ins
It was announced at last night's meeting that there has been a change to the Sunday Sew-in. The Chandler Police Substation has had a lot of demand from quilt groups for use of the room. So, they have decided to have the room open on the last Sunday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for any quilters that would like to use it. This is a longer time than we used to have available.
So bring your project, maybe meet some quilters from other groups, chat with folks from our group, and have some fun. This can be a good time to get other opinions on a project or pattern with which you are having some difficulty. You don't have to stay for the entire time. You can arrive and leave whenever you want between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Be sure to clean up after yourself before you leave.
Note: The Police do have the right to cancel the Sew-ins at the last minute if they need the room for a meeting. This does not happen often.
