This is what making a quilt top in a day looks like.....

Gudrun busy at the ironing station...

Denise doing her part in making the rows even!
Lynette and Sharon sewing the rows together with great speed!
Joanne and Kathy thankful their rows are finished!

Ruth pressing those seams with perfection!

Thanks to Ruth, Denise, Gudrun, Kathy, Joanne, Sharon, Lynette and Kim for donating their Wednesday for putting together the quilt for Arizona Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Coalition. This quilt is in memory of the 70 children that lost their lives from abuse last year...the white pinwheels represent each one of those lives lost and will be displayed at the upcoming Family Day at Tumbleweed Park on April 7,2012.
