Raffle Baskets

Our Ways and Means chairperson, Lynnette has put together beautiful raffle baskets that will be raffled off during the year at scheduled meetings. Your first opportunity to win one of these wonderful baskets is on March 1,2011.
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.
Mark your calendars for March 1, June 7, September 6, and the holiday party for your chance to win. Just remember you can't win without a ticket!!!!!!

Quilt Study Gathering

All with an interest in 19th and 20th century antique quilts are invited to a gathering to share, study and learn. The gatherings are on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Nest meeting is February 9,2011 at 10am. For more information and location contact Lynn Miller at lynnquilt@aol.com.

Valentine theme for Show and Tell on February 1, 2011

Our show and tell host, Berta would like to invite everyone to bring a Valentine themed project to our next meeting on February 1,2011. This could include anything red, pink, with hearts, etc...get the idea? Berta has a lot of ideas for show and tell, so return to the blog often.

Message from LeeAnna about spring camp

Spring Quilt Camp at Emmanuel Pines in Prescott is coming up fast! It's early in April - Friday, April 8th through Sunday, April 10th. I'll let you know if we have Thursday in February.

> If we get Thursday we can show up at 2:00 pm and we have to be out by 2:00 pm on Sunday.

> Costs have gone up just a bit (like everything else!) so this time around the fees are as follows:

> Costs: 3 days = $82.00
> 4 days = $94.00

> This is a $2.00 increase in fees.
>
> If you haven't come to camp before here are some things to plan for besides quilting, eating, quilting, sleeping, quilting, fun, quilting and laughing!

Trunk Show to start the New Year...January 4, 2010

Apache Junction quilter, Janet Real, will be sharing about 20 quilts with us. She does beautiful applique work, often without pattern, only working from a photo she sees. She has also rescued several quilts which were completed halfway. What a gift! It will be a treat to see her work.
