Regular Meeting - In Person: Quilto and Voting for 2024-2025 Leadership and Budget Approval

 Hello Nimble Thimbles members!

Please read this email thoroughly as there are changes to our meeting times, dates and scheduled programs!

Come and join us this Tuesday night May 21, 2024 in person, for our favorite game - Quilto!  Quilto is played like Bingo with a fun twist using quilt themes and lots of quilt related prizes!  

The meeting will start at 6:45pm with a short business meeting to vote on the new board and leadership for 2024-2025, and review/approval of the 2024-2025 budget.

Due to all the activities planned during the meeting, there WILL NOT be Show and Tell or Community Service.

We will have the free table - please be sure to take items home that weren’t taken by the end of the meeting.

Meeting time:

6:15pm to set up

Note early start time:  6:45pm - Short business meeting to vote for new board and review of the budget

7:00pm Quilto starts

President's Challenge: 

Please bring your finished item to the Monday, June 3, 2024 meeting.  Pick a purchase from a vacation, or in your travels, and make it!  The drawing will be held at June 3, 2024 meeting.

Sweet Pz Sew Sew Day at 3536 E Tremaine Ave, Gilbert, AZ 85234 is the 2nd Saturday of every month through 2024.  9:30am-4:00pm.  $10 payable to the Sweet Pz owner.  Next sew day is June 15, 2024.

 Nimble Thimbles membership:

Please note that Quilto has been moved to May 21, 2024 meeting.   The meeting will be started early at 6:45pm to allow for voting for the 2024-2025 leadership and approval of the 2024-2025 budget.   Quilto will follow.   An email will be sent to the membership with the full agenda for the meeting.

Also - the meetings on the first and third Tuesdays in June have been canceled.   The church site we have our meetings at has other activities scheduled on those dates.

Meeting 5/7/24 In Person: Donna Farley Demo: Ruler Quilting on a Domestic Machine

 Come and join us this Tuesday night 5/7/24, in person, to see Donna Farley, a teacher from the former Quilters Ranch, demonstrating Ruler Quilting on a Domestic Machine.   Donna has lots of tips and tricks to tell us including a trunk show!  A show you won’t want to miss!

Please bring your Show and Tell to share.

We also will be having the free table - please be sure to take items home that weren’t taken by the end of the meeting.

We are looking to fill a few leadership positions for next year (beginning in July) 2024-2025. Make your wishes known by the next meeting!  It's a great opportunity to join the Nimble Thimbles Team. The election will be held May 21.

President Challenge: 

Please bring your finished item or show the progress this week. Pick a purchase from a vacation, or in your travels, and make it! Every time you finish an item, bring for Show and Tell and receive a ticket.  The more projects you complete, the more tickets you’ll receive for the drawing at the last month’s meeting in June.
