5th Tuesday Charity!

From our president:

We are preparing for our 5th Tuesday Community Night and would like to get a head count on who will be there. We will focus on piecing kits. We have bricks, squares and jelly rolls waiting for a good sewing machine to turn them into beautiful quilts that can be used by the American Red Cross (for disaster relief), American Legion (for our local veterans), or the Pregnancy Care Center (baby quilts for new Moms and Dads). We will also have some bag kits on hand. Our bags are given to the Red Cross.

We know that some of you prefer to cut and put together kits, so if that is your preference, let us know so that we can have supplies on hand for you (table lifts and fabric). Be sure to bring your own tools for whatever you decide to do (sewing machine and notions, cutting mat, rotary cutter, rulers).

If you are planning to attend and have not yet notified Penny, please email her or here and I will forward it on to her so she has a headcount.  See you August 29th.  Thank you!
