  Open Sew Opportunity at Sweet Pz's Quilt Dezigns, 3536 E Tremaine Ave., Gilbert AZ 85234. Store opens at 9:30 AM and closes at 4:00 PM. Cost is $10.00 payable to Pam, shop owner. Shop website has convenient ability to reserve and pay for your spot at the Open Sew. Payment at the shop is still accepted. All quilt projects are welcome, included knitting and crochette projects. Space available for big projects. Dinette available in the shop for lunch. Feel free to bring a snack to share.

November 3rd Zoom Meeting on Next Generation

    Stay out of the busy voter traffic and stay home for an informative Zoom meeting on Next Generation. This is a topic that affects all of us as quilters. Guest speaker will be Diana Anderson. Without teaching young people to sew and become involved in quilting, quilting will become a dying art. Please plan to attend and learn what you can do to teach the Next Generation and ensure that quilting will live on in future generations. Watch your email for Zoom link.

 Machine embroidery group meets at 35th Ave Sew & Vac, 4939 W Ray Road, Chandler AZ 85226. Doors open at 9:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM. All sewists are still welcome. Focus is mainly on machine embroidery but all sewing projects are still welcome. Cost is $5.00 per person, payable to the shop. Limited space, contact Jill Eskew for reservations.

Oct. 20th Meeting Quilt-O!

 Bring your roll of pennies or bag of buttons to cover your Quilt-O cards. It will be a fun night of chance winning. Also, there will be a display of the Chapter Challenge, "I Heard It". Members are always invited to bring their WIP's and finished projects for Show n' Tell. Meeting are held the Community Room at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 739 W. Erie St, Chandler AZ 85225. Meeting Room opens at 6:30 PM to help set up tables and chairs. check in starts at 6:45 PM. Business starts at 7:00 PM
