Nimble Thimbles
A Chapter of the Arizona Quilters Guild
Welcome and Thank You for joining or showing an interest in Nimble Thimbles.
We are a group of quilters dedicated to the love and art of quilt making. Membership in this chapter will provide you with opportunities to grow your love of quilting, share your talents, improve your skills and make new friends who share your passion. We hope this letter will make you feel more comfortable and familiarize you with some of our activities. Nimble Thimbles is a chapter of the Arizona Quilters Guild (AQG). AQG provides the 501(c)3 non-profit status, insurance for events, educational opportunities, and hosts an annual quilt show in the spring. All Nimble Thimble members must also join AQG. Dues: Membership year is July – June.
• AQG dues are $25/year payable through the AQG website - https://www.arizonaquiltersguild.org/. $30 after July 1.
• Nimble Thimbles dues are $25/year payable to Nimble Thimbles. Payment is via check or cash using the membership form.
Meetings: 1st and third Tuesdays of the month in person meetings are held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church . Occasional meetings may be held via Zoom and notification with a link to Zoom is sent via email to the membership ahead of the actual meeting.
Our physical meeting location: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 739 W. Erie Street, Chandler.
The meetings last approximately 2 hours, 7-9p.m., with a program, business meeting, and show and tell. Our program committee provides programs which appeal to the wide range of our members' interests. Programs and classes have featured nationally known quilters such as Bonnie Hunter, Freddy Moran, Laura Heine, local skilled quilters, shop owners and fabric and pattern designers. We always welcome our own talented members who want to share their talents. If you have a skill you want to share or have an idea about a program, please contact the program committee.

Emails are sent to the membership as reminders of upcoming meetings.
