Zoom Meeting: Tuesday 9/17/24 Rachel Derstine "Keep It Simple But Pack a Punch"

 Attention all Nimble Thimbles Members,

  There will be a Zoom meeting this Tuesday, September 17th, at 6:00 PM. Due to the difference in Time Zones this meeting will start 1 hour earlier than our usual time. Meeting time will be 6:00 PM and will start promptly with the program. Please mark your calendars accordingly. Our guest speaker is Rachel Derstine who will be giving her lecture on 'Keep It Simple But Pack a Punch'. An exploration into a world of quilts that need not be complex. September 3rd, In-person meeting. Sewing Delights Fabric Store, is an online store. Proprietor Laurie Hextell will bring her shop to us! Come join us for a lovely evening. For refreshments, we would like to bring back our 'Apple Festival' and request people to bring baked goodies or snacks made with apples! (No pumpkins allowed!) Our Mary Platt started this and we think its a worthy tradition to bring back and keep. Please contact Mary Platt to register your refreshment.  November 5th, Zoom meeting, Brita Nelson of The Questioning Quilter will present online trunk show. We are planning to have Brita lead us in a Zoom Workshop where she will teach several of her Disappearing Blocks, on November 9th. This is an active workshop and you will learn a fun technique. Sign up information will be at our September and October meetings.
