Meeting on 9/20/16

We are lucky to have Jo Van Loo as our guest quilt artist this Tuesday, September 20. Jo is one of our AQG traveling teachers who belongs to the Mavericks. Her presentation for us will mingle storytelling, quilting and hand-dyed fabric. Come, bring a friend, something for Show and Tell, some scissors for trimming and poking tools to work on scissors cases and enjoy! Same time:  7 pm, same place: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. 

September Meetings

Tuesday, September 6 is our next Nimble Thimbles meeting. One of our very talented members, Merci Apodaca, has agreed to present a trunk show of several of her quilt collections. You all have admired her work during the Show and Tell portion of our meetings in the past. Now you'll get a chance at an in-depth look at Merci's amazing work. And don't forget our on-going projects as well: Red, White and Blue scissors cases for the AQG Fall meeting; and the two President's Challenge projects: string blocks and birdhouse mini-quilts. See you all the day after Labor Day!
